It was a tragic day for human rights defenders worldwide when we received news of Delara Darabi’s execution. Today we have received news that her boyfriend Amir Hossein Sotoudeh at the time of the incident who was allegedly implicated in the death of her relative, committed suicide recently while in jail. He was serving a 10 year sentence for complicity in a murder.
