Javid is&#160;convicted of a murder, in April of&#160;2005. The report published by ISCAnews is&#160;not&#160;clear about Javid&#8217;s exact&#160;age at the time of the conviction of the crime, since the report calls him &#8220;the 20 years old offender&#8221;. However since the alleged crime was&#160;dated back to&#160;nearly 3 years ago (2 years and 10 months), there is a&#160;high possibility that&#160;Javid&#160;was under 18 years of age at the time of the alleged offence.<\/font><\/div>\n<p>\n<span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Arial\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\"><font size=\"2\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Arial\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\"><font size=\"2\">International law strictly prohibits the use of the death penalty against people convicted of crimes committed when they were under 18. In 2007 at least 7 were reported to have been executed&#160;: 6 in Iran and 1 in Saudi Arabia. Three are known to have been&#160;saved from execution: 2 in Iran and 1 in Yemen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RECOMMENDED ACTION:<\/strong><strong><br \/><\/strong><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"postmore\">\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<strong><br \/><\/strong>&#8211; Call&#160;on&#160;the Iranian authorities to immediately halt the execution of&#160;Javid.
