\nIn a phone conversation with Nazanin Afshin-Jam this morning, Mohammad Mostafei, the attorney of Ali Mahin-Torabi<\/a> confirmed that Ali’s file has left Iran’s superior courts appeals, however the department of executions denies receiving the file.<\/p>\n

Mr. Mostafaei has not yet been informed of the content of the decision however is fearful that the authorities may be witholding information until last minute or if the appeal was denied execute Ali without notifying him or his attorney as they have done in at least 4 cases recently.

\nMeanwhile following our communications with the International Committee against executions , they informed the Swedish foreign minister and the swedish Members of Parliament about the recent developments about Ali Mahin-Torabi’s situation.

\nLast week following ICAE’s contacts, the swedish government in a official letter condemned the execution of Makwan Moloudzadeh.<\/a>\n<\/div>\n
