The Stop Child Executions campaign wish to inform the readers that even though we provide a link to Reza Alinejad's petition, we cannot endorse it's following demand :

"an order of clemency be issued in this case and that Reza be released from prison as his actions were clearly dictated by the natural right of every human to defend him/herself from serious physical injury or death."

Stop Child Executions campaign is a Human Rights Organization dedicated to permanent abolishment of death penalty for alleged crimes committed by persons below eighteen years of age. We also believe that everyone is innocent until proven guilty therefore we demand fair trials according to international standards to properly establish the facts, Without sufficient proof, it is not our place to decide whether these minors are guilty of the crimes that they are accused of or not. Saving life and fair trial for Reza Alinejad and all other minors who face execution in Iran is our primary concern and that is why Reza's name and information are listed in our petition, WebPages and many news reports.

We also recognize that it is not our place to decide for the readers and for that reason we chose to provide the link to Reza Alinejad's petition. Although we can not endorse the petition in its present format, the choice to sign is left to the readers own discretion.
