As of June 2009, blog.com made a decision to change it's hosting format to Wordpress, consequently making all previous SCE News Blog article links redundant.  Although we have made several attempts to contact the owners of blog.com to try to resolve the issue, they have elected not to respond.

All previous SCE News articles dated February 2007 to June 2009 are still searchable via 'title' or 'name' at http://scenews.blog.com.

All articles from July 2009 onward will now be located on the Stop Child Executions website in SCE News & Updates.  The previous SCE News blog link is titled SCE News Archives and located beneath the SCE News & Updates link above.

We encourage you to read, participate and vote for the articles in SCE News & Updates.
Your continued support is very much appreciated.

    Thank you.

Newsflash

"The overwhelming international consensus that the death penalty should not apply to juvenile offenders stems from the recognition that young persons, because of their immaturity, may not fully comprehend the consequences of their actions and should therefore benefit from less severe sanctions than adults. More importantly, it reflects the firm belief that young persons are more susceptible to change, and thus have a greater potential for rehabilitation than adults."

Mary Robinson, former United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights
